Shizuoka Trip

My gf and I went on a tour the other weekend.  It's been rainy and cold a lot lately, but we actually got lucky with out booking, as it turned out to be pretty warm.  We set off from Yokohama to Izu, Shizuoka, which is about a 3 hour ride.  Luckily I got the new Pokemon Moon to keep me occupied.

First plate of food for lunch.  It was an all you can eat fresh seafood buffet, along with other foods.

After that we head out on a short boat ride.  There were lots of seagulls that  you could feed by hand.  It was pretty neat.

Next we went to pick fresh tangerines.  It's a popular thing to do in Japan, however this was my first time.  I wasn't very hungry though since we had just eaten lunch, but I still ate 3 lol.

After picking the tangerines we stopped at a temple in a small town to visit a temple and stroll around.

The colors were nice.

Enjoyed some ice cream before getting back on the bus.

There was a pretty nicely executed widebody s15 in the parking area.

Lastly we stopped at the park type thing that was geared toward British and Canadian souvenirs.  They also had a light display, which was the best part.

The lights really accented the fall colors.  Unfortunately all the nice pictures are on my gf's camera, so all you all get is iPhone quality lol.

Unfortunately being that it was such a nice weekend, traffic was horrible on the way home.  It took 5 hours to get back, vs the 3 it originally took to get there, which was already longer than it should have been.
