Touge Session

Ramen Time

Today I went to Daiei Mall and More's City to pick a couple things up for the house. In the mean time I decided to eat at my favorite ramen place. It has been probably 2 months since I have been there. I ate at another ramen restaurant a couple weeks ago if you saw the post. I really needed to go re-eat the tantanmen ramen at my local place to insure I was correct about how delicious it was compared to everywhere else, and my word stands. In almost 2 years of living in Japan, and trying A LOT of restaurants, I have to say this place still stands number 1 in my book.

A big pumpkin in the local mall as Halloween nears =)

  2. Lol ok

Younger people all dress up and go to clubs and party like we do in the states. In small areas some little kids trick or treat around but it's not popular really. You'll find decorations for most all holidays here whether they are really celebrated or not.

I teach about Halloween to my younger grade students at the end of the month and most of them have never heard of our American traditions before.

  4. Brian I'm loving that you're updating your blog with every day stuff more. I'd like more pictures but I'd always like more pictures lol.

And that's what's cool about Japan. They are open to other cultures. In America we barely celebrate or know about our own holidays lol.
