My s15 has arrived

Daikoku Area Sliding

Last night I went out to Daikoku Futo area with LA and took some video and a few pics. I saw one of the nicest S14's to date EVER (that means on the interwebz too)...too bad no pics of him though :( Anyways here are some pics. Funny part is this was all fresh laid pavement and white lines. The construction crew was still out there working while everyone was tearing it up laying down some serious tire marks. None of the tire marks pictured were there when we got there haha!

Well over 100 cars were lined up all around the area. Tons of people out, crazy how ordinary nights can turn out bigger than some real drift events at the tracks..

Then a recent friend I just met that night left and no more than half a mile away wrecked his R1. Luckily he was ok besides some scrapes and bruises but his bike was totaled. He let go of the bike luckily in time to avoid the guard poles it smashed into.

  1. Glad to hear your friend is okay. Looks like he took a pretty nasty spill. Is that an old Honda VFR I spot in the background? :)

  8. Dude I feel bad for the construction guys. Wish we could lay down marks like that here. Maybe they'd take better care of the roads....

Yea I kinda felt bad too, but they walked over by us and were all polite lol.. Didn't tell us to leave or anything. one of them was taking a break having a drink and was sitting down watching everyone slide LOL.. I guess it makes the night more interesting for them too.

  11. Good to see that the street drift scene is still alive and well. I was hoping it wouldn't be dead by the time I was old/rich enough to enjoy it. Dig the blog man, if not the font, haha.

  12. Thanks, and yea it is well alive. You do or don't like the font? I was considering changing it to something more normal thinking perhaps it is too difficult to skim through like most people wana.
