My s15 has arrived

Car Life

Well this weekend I was super busy, I worked on the car ALL day Saturday, and then met up with friends to go driting later in the evening. I had some good food at Bamiyan and then headed to the local spots in Yokohama. Then we made our way over to Kawasaki where we ran into about 40 other cars out. We watched drifting there for about 20 minutes before cops came, but my friends put in a good full hour of sliding on there own, so a lot of practice was put it..lots of fun ^^

Well basically I got all the coilovers broke loose, and maxed out all 4 corners. Unfortunately being that they are the old type, they aren't very low..well at least not as low as I would like. I can fit 3 fingers between the frame-rail and the ground, so I guess it's moderately low, but I'm not really satisfied. You can see in the pic though I dropped the spring about 4 inches, so its a lot better I guess :/

After lowering the car I then changed all the bolts that were holding the sideskirts/bumper on to zipties.. Lots more convenient ;) Then the stripping began, I took out both front seats for cleaning, and then everything behind them. I got rid of some of the sound deadening, and a lot of random crap I found. Cleaned it out really well and dried up the water that was on the passenger side that almost all s13's seem to have, got rid of all the insulation crap. Tried to clean it up really well but I dont have a vacuum so I could only do so much.

I will have to go do shaken with a few months so I was told by my friends that I needed to have a lot of the junk I took out.. So I spent a lot of today putting a lot of that back in. It was still worth it getting it cleaned out good and getting rid of a lot of the sound deadening.

Reflectors and Nissan letters need to come of.. I think I will probably leave SILVA on though. Here are just some pics throughout the weekend.

I am going to be painting the bucket seat some color soon so I left

Also BIG UPS to Snoddy back home for shipping me stickers :) <3 <3 <3 I cant wait to get everything on the car.

  1. Damn. Thing cleaned up pretty nice Brian. With some wider wheels (or HUGE spacers) it would be pretty much ready to go. Can't wait for the blog updates about you sliding it.
