I did the passenger side today. I was able to make it work with the fender brace still on since this is the smaller set of wiring. I might tackle the driver side tomorrow but it looks like I may be cutting the harness in half and re-routing it. Also today I tore into some of the wiring and found some horrible things. First off out of the 4 gauges only 2 were really hooked up, and the wiring is atrocious so I basically took out all the gauges and will redo them all. Im also gona get a CD player wired up so I can crank some Cudi :) So after getting kind of upset at the shitty job that was done with the wiring it got even worse... I looked under the back of the car to check the clearance only to find the the rear swaybar is just basically barely hanging on. The brackets were luckily still there but yea. The guy before the dude I bought it from basically messed up everything trying to do installs himself I guess.. Such a horrible job has been done on everything, luckily I seem to be getting it all fixed up fairly quickly, unfortunately lots of rain is in the forecast. Not so sure about getting the car out next week now or not :/
After getting it bent in some and the neighbors probably really mad at me I opted for a quieter method lol.. Lowered the car down on this and jumped on it haha
Ok for now I think much better than before..
Wiring is fun.. :/

LOL. I hate when stuff like this happens. Oh well though. You're getting it done pretty quick and I know you're more than capable.
ReplyDeleteAs for the rear sway bar..... whatever. A lot of people prefer to drift without it so it might not be that big of a deal for you. I say try sliding without it for a while.
Haha, I wish I had seen you jumping on it, that would have been a funny sight. But yeah, looks like it's coming along quite nicely. Keep up the work! And I don't blame you for wanting to blast some Cudi haha
